Ingredients

  • • 500g of baklava dough, which equals 22 chips.
  • • 1/2 a cup of ghee.
  • • 1/2 a cup of oil.
  • The stuff: • 2 cups of liquid milk.
  • • 1 cup of sugar.
  • • 1 cup of fresh cream.
  • • 5 tablespoons of starch.
  • • 1/4 a cup of liquid milk to melt starch.
  • • 1/4 a cup of semolina.
  • • 1 tablespoon of rose water.
  • • 1 tablespoon of blossom water.
  • The syrup: • 2 cups of sugar.
  • • 1 cup of water.
  • • 1 teaspoon of rose water.
  • • 1 teaspoon of blossom water.
  • • 1 teaspoon of sour lemon juice.

Methods

Step 1

• To prepare the syrup, put sugar and water in a pot on heat.

Step 2

• When the mix starts boiling, add lemon juice and leave it on heat to condense, then add blossom water and rose water.

Step 3

• Raise the syrup from heat and set it aside to cool.

Step 4

• To prepare the stuff: • Melt starch first in 1/4 a cup of milk, then heat milk with sugar on heat , and then add melted starch , and then stir until the mix condenses.
