750 g flour.

50 g Semolina.

1 small piece of Yeast.

1 envelope baking powder.

1 L vegetables oil.

2 tablespoons lemon juice.

For sugar syrup:

1 kg sugar.

1/2 L water.


Blend flour, semolina, and baking powder together in a pot, then place the yeast into the middle of the mixture. add lukewarm water and blend until we get a dough. Cover the dough with wet towel and set aside for 1-2 hours.

Place the dough in a mold “opened from the bottom” and pour it over a saucepan filled with oil and fry in the rings shape.

Raise from oil and place it directly into sugar syrup.

Leave it in sugar syrup for 5-6 minutes then serve.
