mahshi cucurbit with lemon Juice

  • • 3kg of medium sized cucurbit.
  • • 3 cups of fine rice.
  • • 1kg of fine meat.
  • • Salt
  • condiment
  • lemon juice
  • • A head of garlic.
  • • 1 tablespoon of dried mint.
  • • 1 spoon of tomato molasses.


Step 1

• Grate the cucurbit, then dig it after washing it, and then prepare the stuff.

Step 2

• Wash rice, then mix it with meat, salt, condiment and a spoon of tomato molasses.

Step 3

• Fill each cucurbit with three quarters of it, then row the cucurbit in pot on the bones, laurel leaves and green pepper pieces that gain the stuff a special taste.

Step 4

• Add fresh tomato juice with pounded garlic and mint, then put the pot on a medium heat.

Step 5

• After an hour of the stuff boiling, add citric acid.
