Ingredients

  • Ingredients of the dough: • 3 cups of fine brunette grit. • 1 tablespoon of salt, 2 tablespoons of flour. • 1/2 a teaspoon of condiment. • Oil to fry kebbeh.
  • Ingredients of the stuff: • 1 chopped into wings and medium sized onions. • Olive oil to fry onion. • 1/4 a teaspoon of black pepper. • 1/2 a cup of pomegranate seeds. • 1/4 a cup of raisin, 1/2 a cup of pine. • A sprinkle of saffron, Parsley for decoration.

Methods

Step 1

Preparation of the dough: • Soak grit in hot water until it becomes mushy, then set it aside. • Add salt, flour and condiment and rub well to get a sticky dough. • Make kebbeh into loaves that are like small cups, row them in the tray , but make sure to put the head of these balls down. • Heat oil in a deep pan, and fry kebbeh loaves in it, then raise and filter and row them on kitchen tissues, but also make sure to put the haed of them down to get rid of excess oil.

Step 2

Preparation of the stuff: • Heat some oil in a pan, fry pine in it and then set it aside. • Fry onion until it wilts and become half cooked. • Mix the fried onion with raisin, pine, pomegranate seeds, saffron and black pepper. • Fill fried kebbeh loaves with the prepared stuff and decorate them with parsley leaves and then serve them.
