1 1/4 cups flour.
1/2 teaspoon carbonate.
40 g margarine.
150 g white cheese ( 2 kinds not salted and salted cheese).
For Sugar Syrup:
2 cups water.
1/5 cup sugar.
1 tablespoon lemon juice.
To prepare Sugar Syrup: combine two cups of water with sugar in a pot and heat until boil then add lemon juice.
In a pot add flour, baking powder, eggs, oil, and cheese and blend well until you get a cohesive dough.
Grease the baking dish with oil. Cut the dough into 18 pieces and roll them then arrange in baking dish. Bake in preheated oven ( 180 degrees C) for 20 minutes.
When the balls are cooked well wait for few minutes to cool then dunk into the sugar syrup pot and heat for 15 minutes.
Then raise the dough balls ( Kamal Basha) from sugar syrup and cool then serve.
Note : after we roast the dough balls in the oven we can place them in a airtight box and keep them for weeks and when we want to serve heat sugar syrup and serve.
