Ingredients

  • • Turkey (4 kg)
  • • 2 minced onions.
  • • 3 cups of rice.
  • • 1/2 a kg of finely minced meat.
  • • Salt.
  • • Black pepper.
  • • Various condiments.
  • • Cinnamon.
  • • Minced cardamom.
  • • Oil for cooking.

Methods

Step 1

• The preparation of the stuff: • Cook the minced meat with the minced onions and shake. • Add condiments. • Add minced cardamom. • Wash rice, soak it for 1/4 an hour then add the minced meat and onion and make them half-cooked. • Add a little of water and cover the pot and cook the stuff and let it 5 minutes then leave it untill be cold .

Step 2

• Preparing the turkey for filling: • Clean the turkey and wash it well. • Rub the turkey with lemon and olive oil. • Rub it with the mix of condiments from the inside and the outside and under the skin also. • Fill the turkey with the previously prepared stuff. • Wrap the turkey with the aluminum foil well and put a little water in bottom of pot.

Step 3

• Put it in a 350 degrees oven for 2 hours.
