Ingredients

  • • 1 tablespoon of tahini.
  • • 1/2 a cup of soft ghee.
  • • 1 can of nestle sweetened and concentrated milk.
  • • 1 teaspoon of baking powder.
  • • 2 cups of semolina.
  • • 1 cup of dried coconut.
  • • 1 cup of water.
  • The syrup: • 1 1/2 a cup of sugar.
  • • 1 cup of water.
  • • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice.
  • • 1 tablespoon of blossom water.

Methods

Step 1

• Paint a mold for baking (28×24 cm) with tahini.

Step 2

• Mix ghee with nestle sweetened milk and baking powder well and stir well.

Step 3

• Add semolina, dried coconut and water and stir these ingredients well until they become well mixed.

Step 4

• Pour the mix in the prepared baking mold and bake it in a 190 degrees Celsius oven for 35 minutes or until the surface color becomes golden.

Step 5

• Get the mold from the oven and pour cooled syrup on it, then put it in a moderate heat place to cool and cut it into diamond shapes and then serve.

Step 6

To prepare the syrup: • Put sugar and water in a pot and then boil the mix and then leave it on a backburner for 6-8 minutes.

Step 7

• Then, raise it from heat and add lemon juice and blossom water to it.
