Ingredients

  • • 1kg of fresh, chopped and green beans.
  • • 4 tablespoons of olive oil.
  • • 3 pieces of chopped onion.
  • • 4 pounded garlic cloves.
  • • 600g of fresh tomatoes (chopped into cubes).
  • • 2tablespoons of lemon juice.
  • • 1/2 a cup of hot water.
  • • Salt and pepper (to taste).

Methods

Step 1

• Heat the oil in a cooking pot and then add onion and fry it until it wilts.

Step 2

• Add garlic and green beans and fry them on a backburner for 15 minutes or until the beans wilt.

Step 3

• Add tomatoes, lemon juice, water and pepper.

Step 4

• Cover all and cook on a backburner for 45 minutes. • Serve this meal hot or cold.
